My name is Nassim from France and I am raising funds for my friend Hind and her family, from Gaza, Palestine. I have been in contact personally with Hind for a few months now. She has been telling me about then inhumane living conditions that she’s been enduring for more than a year. Here is part of her story :
This has been the nightmare that Hind and her family have been going through for over a full year now. Their sources of income have entirely stopped, as all their means of livelihood and work have been completely destroyed. They have been struggling to satisfy their basic needs for over a year now. Hello, everyone. I am writing to inform you of the current situation of Hind and her family. There are currently three major difficulties : the famine, the constant threat of displacement and the lack of proper aid to deal with health issues. You can find some words from Hind herself at the end of this update. First of all, I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your donations. Whatever the amount may have been, those donations have allowed Hind and her family to survive during these difficult and uncertain times. After the latest ceasefire truce agreement earlier this year, Hind and her family have managed to find a place to stay and have been surviving, thanks to the donations, and Hind’s husband working as much as possible. However, many difficulties still remain, the main one being the general famine crippling the Gaza Strip. The famine has been occuring in Gaza months before the current reports of the Western mainstream media. The occupation army is preventing the large majority of aid from entering the area, while letting gangs of looters sell the little aid available for unimaginably high prices. For example, one bag of flour can now cost as much as 500 US dollars. The gangs of looters are mainly composed of escaped prisoners, who fled from prisons during the early days of the genocide, after those prisons were bombed by the occupation army. The main humanitarian organization in Palestine since 1950, UNRWA, has reported that all the aid necessary has been available three hours away from the Gaza Strip since January 2025. The occupation army only allows very small amounts of aid to enter, mainly through their disastrous US-backed “Gaza Humatarian Fund” operation, which has current
