Help Ibrahim Abu Namous and His Family Survive!

I am the child Ibrahim Bassam Abu Namous, I am 10 years old, before the genocide on Gaza, I was living the most beautiful life in our house with my lovely family. I am the second youngest from my family of 6 sisters and 1 brother, we are a family of 11 in total! I remember playing with my martyred sister Lian who was 7 years old, I miss her so much!

My family used to meet all my needs, and my mother used to teach me, pamper me, and cook the most delicious foods for me but when the genocide began, it took away from me the most precious thing I had, half of my family! I will never forget that night, when our house was bombed and my mother, my little sister Lian, my grandma and five other relatives were martyred. Mind you there were 41 members, ranging from friends, neighbors, and relatives in our house- they deliberately bombed our home when my father was outside of the house.

I was seriously injured, in between life and death, but God wrote life for me, as for the rest of my family, some of them had their limbs amputated and their organs were disfigured as a result of being injured by shells, shrapnel and third-degree burns in all parts of their bodies. Some of them were evacuated to Egypt for treatment, but the rest of my family and I live in a small tent in Gaza. We have yet to receive the proper treatments for my and my families wounds. We are struggling to survive, in the summers we struggled to stay hydrated and cool, trying to avoid the insects at night and during the day. And in the winter we are stuck in there is bitter cold, struggling to find clothes and blankets to keep us warm.

As you know the situation in Gaza is only getting worse with the scarcity of food and water, lack of medicine, and the spread of diseases and epidemics. I hope you will help me so that I can help my family, get the proper treatment and help us survive with the outrageous costs of living these days. We just want to live in safety, security and we want to complete our education like the rest of the children worldwide.

Medical problems: My two sisters Ayah and Aseel were severely burned all over their bodies and face and were evacuated to Egypt for their burns. They were accompanied by my two other sisters Shaima and Nada! Due to cultural and religious purposes we cannot show pictures of my sisters and their injuries. My older brother Mohammad was badly injured in both of his hands, resulting in the amputation of his finger in one hand and a titanium plate in the other. His hands need cosmetic surgery to the severity of his wounds.

As for myself, I suffered from broken ribs, a punctured lungs and sharpenals in my leg abdomen and chest. The sharpenal in my abdomen has caused problems in my stomach as well. I’m suffering a lot!

دُمر منزلنا في قصف مفاجئ، في لحظة كنا نعيش بين جدران منزلنا، حيث الحنان والذكريات ودفء العائلة ، وفجأة اختفى كل شئ ، حيث فقدت أمي وأختي وجدتي وإصابة إخوتي بحالات البتر والحروق والشظايا.

كنت ضحية القصف الذي تركني بإصابة خطيرة في البطن وكسر أضلاع في الحجاب الحاجز ، وآلام مبرحة، تذكرني بشكل دائم بتلك اللحظات المروعة. للأسف ، لم أكن الوحيد الذي عانى، فقد أصيب بعض أفراد أسرتي أيضا، وهم بحاجة ضرورية إلى رعاية طبية، جميعنا نحتاج إلى العلاج لكي نتعافى، لكن الرعاية الطبية اللازمة غير متوفرة في غزة. الحرب دمرت المرافق الطبية ، مما جعل من الصعب جداً الحصول على المساعدة التي نحتاجها بشدة. ومع انعدام الدخل، يصبح تأمين الرعاية الطبية اللازمة تحدياً هائلاً لا نعرف كيف نتجاوزه.

قبل هذه المأساة، كانت حياتنا تملؤها السعادة والفرح، ولكن الآن جرفت الحرب بيتنا وجميع مصادر دخلنا، وألقتنا في خيمة نكافح فيها يومياً لتلبية أبسط احتياجاتنا، يثقلنا القلق المستمر بشأن توفير الطعام.

دعمكم لنا قادر على تغيير حياتنا، نحتاج بشدة إلى مساعدة في تغطية نفقاتنا اليومية من طعام وملبس ومكان آمن للإقامة فيه، كما نحتاج إلى تمويل لتغطية تكاليف العلاج الطبي واجلاؤنا خارج غزة، حتى يمكنني أنا وباقي عائلتي أن نتعافى من إصابتنا، ونتمنى بشدة إعادة بناء منزلنا، مكاناً يمكننا فيه أن نشعر بالأمان ونبدأ حياة جديدة.

إن مساهمتكم مهما كانت بسيطة، تقربنا أكثر من أهدافنا وتعطينا الفرصة لإعادة بناء حياتنا واستعادة الأمل من جديد. لطفكم سيحدث فرقا حقيقياً، ليس فقط في توفير الأساسيات التي نحتاجها الآن ، ولكن أيضا في إظهار أن هناك أشخاصا يهتمون بنا ويرغبون في مساعدتنا لنتخطى هذه المحنة.
