I lived through the genocide with all its suffering and survived many times thanks to your presence with us… You who have a living conscience. For more than a year and a half, we have been suffering from hunger, torture, and the destruction of my home. By God, we accepted God’s will and destiny and were patient on our land. However, we thought that the fear had disappeared after the announcement of the truce and ceasefire, but today it has returned in a more ferocious form. And because the entire world is silent, unfortunately, I am writing to you now with trembling hands. We are living through extremely difficult days. We are now experiencing the horrors of torture and genocide before the eyes of the entire world. My children are being starved today in a hideous way. The price of one bag of flour has reached $700. This is a crime against humanity, with intensive bombing day and night. By God, we can no longer bear it. Even our bodies have grown old and tired from the lack of food. After a year and a half of torture, genocide through hunger has returned. How will we be displaced again and survive from one death to another?
