My name is Laila, a mother of three daughters: Nadine, Iman, and Souad.

For two years, we have been living under the weight of a long and brutal war in Gaza. During this time, we have lost many loved ones and relatives, and my husband, my daughters, and I have sustained injuries that have left a deep impact on our lives.

Today, we no longer have a home to shelter us; our house was destroyed, and we are temporarily living with my husband’s relatives. My husband is injured in his foot and cannot work, and we are no longer able to provide the most basic necessities of life for my daughters. I can no longer fulfill even their smallest dreams—the simplest of which is a meal or a moment of safety.

I never imagined that my family and I would reach this point, but the harshness of life in Gaza has pushed us to the brink of helplessness and despair.

All I want today is to feed my daughters and provide them with a shelter worthy of their innocence.

I ask for your help and prayers, so that we may find a caring hand to rescue us from this darkness and give my daughters a chance at a better life.
