Who is Liza?

Liza is many things…

She is the caring older sister, the devoted daughter, the loving mother of three children (ages 18, 13, and 11) who are her entire world, and the partner who gives her all without hesitation.

Liza is a loud, contagious laugh that fills any room.
She’s new nicknames, spontaneous jokes, and constant mischief.
But she’s also a safe haven, a source of calm, of wisdom.
She’s the hug that comforts and the voice that makes you feel everything will be okay.

Over her 45 years, life hasn’t been easy for Liza. She has faced incredibly tough challenges—moments that would have broken anyone else… but she has always pulled through. Always fought with courage, with love, with faith.

And now, she’s facing her toughest battle yet.

A few weeks ago, Liza was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, with metastasis to her femur and vertebrae. A diagnosis that came without warning, without time, without reason.

She stands strong, with that unyielding smile.
With her faith unshaken.
With her signature strength.

The treatment that could give her more time and a better quality of life is immunotherapy—a costly but hopeful treatment.
She’s already received the first dose, which cost US 24,000.00, and she needs at least seven more.

Although Liza has health insurance, unfortunately, this treatment is not covered, creating an enormous financial burden for her and her family. That’s why we need to raise US100,000.00

That’s why this campaign was created.
To support her, to embrace her, to show her she is not alone.

¿Quién es Liza?
Liza es muchas cosas…
Es la hermana mayor que cuida, la hija incondicional, la madre amorosa de tres niños (de 18, 13 y 11 años) que son su mundo, y la pareja que da todo de sí sin reservas.

Liza es una risa escandalosa que llena cualquier sala.
Es apodos nuevos, bromas improvisadas y travesuras constantes.
Pero también es refugio, es calma, es sabiduría.
Es ese abrazo que consuela y esa voz que te hace sentir que todo estará bien.

A lo largo de sus 45 años, la vida no ha sido fácil para Liza. Ha enfrentado pruebas durísimas, momentos que hubieran quebrado a cualquiera… pero ella siempre ha salido adelante. Siempre ha luchado con valentía, con amor, con fe.

Y hoy, le toca su batalla más dura.

Hace unas semanas, Liza fue diagnosticada con cáncer de pulmón en etapa 4 con metástasis en el fémur y las vértebras. Un diagnóstico que llegó sin aviso, sin tiempo, sin lógica.

Pero como todo en su vida, no lo está enfrentando sola.
Porque Liza nunca ha estado sola.

Ella sigue de pie, con esa sonrisa que no se rinde.
Con su fe intacta.
Con su fuerza de siempre.

El tratamiento que podría darle más tiempo y calidad de vida es la inmunoterapia, un tratamiento costoso pero lleno de esperanza.
Ya recibió la primera dosis, con un valor de US 24,000.00, y necesita al menos siete más.

Aunque Liza cuenta con un seguro médico, lamentablemente este tratamiento no está cubierto, lo que representa un enorme reto económico para ella y su familia. Por eso necesitamos recaudar 100,000.00
