My name is Malak Al-Masri, a 19-year-old girl from Gaza. I was born and raised here.
Before October 7, 2023, I lived a peaceful life with my family in our warm home.
I had recently graduated from high school with a high GPA and had just started studying Information Technology at the University of Palestine – Gaza.
I was full of hope, chasing my dreams, and building my future.
But everything changed in an instant.
On the morning of that day, war broke out in Gaza — a genocide in every sense of the word.
In that very moment, I lost everything.
My university was completely destroyed.
My education came to a halt.
Our family home was bombed and reduced to rubble.
Now, we live in a temporary tent on the streets of Gaza, surrounded by devastation.
There is no food, no safety, no peace.
The borders are sealed, and aid is blocked.
We go to sleep hungry and wake up to the terrifying sounds of constant bombing.
Our only goal now is to survive — with dignity — and to stay together as a family, without losing each other or ourselves.
This campaign is not just a request for help — it’s a cry for survival.
