Hello,
My name is Lamees. I’m a 13-year-old Palestinian girl, and I’m writing this message with a heart full of hope that my words will reach your hearts.

I am the eldest daughter in a family of seven children and our mother. I was born and raised in Gaza, where war is not just a headline — it’s our daily reality.
But recently, our lives were turned upside down…

Before the latest war began on October 7, 2023, my father was seriously injured by a missile fired from an Israeli Apache helicopter. He fell into a coma for 26 days, and when he finally woke up, he was left with hemiplegia (paralysis on one side of his body), partial hearing loss, and constant ringing in his ears. He is now in Egypt, far from us, trying to recover, but suffering both physically and emotionally — especially from being away from his family, not knowing if we’re even still alive.

Meanwhile, my mother, my siblings, and I remain in Gaza, surviving under daily bombardment, without safe shelter, without enough food, and with no sense of security. We’re trying to survive. We’re trying to stay strong. All we want is to be together again.

We are seeking 75,000 to:

* Help evacuate our family safely from Gaza to Egypt
* Start a new, safe life by my father’s side
* Cover part of his ongoing medical treatment

This campaign is a cry from a young girl who simply wants to live with her father, mother, and siblings in peace.
