Donations are 100% tax deductible
30,000 Afghans who were evacuated at the fall of Kabul remain in safe-haven camps around the United States. They are slowly being transferred out of those camps to live in communities around the country, including here in New York.
Most came with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. They DID bring with them their education, skills, tenacity, and enthusiasm. With a little help from us, their transition will be easier and faster. They’re eager to fully join and contribute to our society, let’s help them!
Your donations will provide the basics: housing, food, medical care, clothing, educational expenses. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help our new friends. We partner with Hearts & Homes for Refugees to identify families who need our help. We are currently supporting one family already, as part of an Interfaith Sponsorship Team. We hope to be able to support more.
