Help to pay for medical expenses and moving house

Hi my names Jennifer and I’m suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome/ME and 2 other autoimmune disorders along with a list of other health complications.

Government assistance in Australia doesn’t cover very much when it comes to chronic illness. All the doctors and specialists I’ve seen over the years I only get a very small rebate back. Most of the medications I’ve been on medicare doesn’t cover.

Three years ago my health deteriorated further and I’ve been unable to work during this time and surviving financially has been very challenging.

Some of my expenses –

$180 for every doctors visit – just this year I’ve already spent $1200 on seeing my doctor and I need many more appointments.

$100 each week for supplements and medications.

I’d like to use some alternative treatments but haven’t been able to afford it so far.

I have an expensive electricity bill as I need aircon on a lot for my heat intolerance.

Ive applied for the NDIS to get some practical help but it could takes months for the application to go through so in the meantime I also need to hire a cleaner.

On top of all of this I’ve just been given an eviction notice as my rental property has been sold. I’m quite concerned about becoming homeless with my low income at the moment and so many health challenges. I also have 4 horses and 2 cats, these animals are my family and I’ve been trying desperately to hold onto them since becoming unwell. I set up a GoFundMe campaign a few years ago to help with 3 of my horses who are rescues. Ive managed to keep my animals up until now with thanks to the generosity of those donations. I need to hire people to help me move as I cant even manage my day to day care and I somehow have to move house with all my animals as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated to get me through this tough time.

I’m planning on making a full recovery of my health but need some support to get there.
