Please help me to support Abeer and her six beautiful children who were victims of bombing in Gaza city. They were forced to flee and half of their home was destroyed in wanton shelling, along with most of their belongings. Now, they fight two wars on a daily basis: the war to survive violence and the war to survive starvation. No family should have to face existential threats like these on a daily basis and your support and solidarity could help to alleviate their daily struggle. In their own words,
“My name is Abeer, I have 6 children: Mahmoud, 22 years old, Sarah, 21, Layan, 16, Larin, 12, Amir, 10, and Sireen, 6. Our area was subjected to heavy shelling in Gaza City. We were forced to move south to live in a small tent. When we returned to our home, half of it had been completely bombed. We tried to live in the other half. Now we are living two wars… the war of bombing and death and the war of starvation… we only eat one meal a day… my children go to sleep crying… please save us from hunger and starvation.”
My name is Joshua. I am blessed to live in the United States, where I have never had to face such dire circumstances. I am establishing this campaign at the request of a friend in order to try and do some good in the world. We are all human and we all have an equal right to live and raise our children. Please help to give these children a chance at a happy life.
