My name is Ramzi Fathi, and I’m from Gaza. My life has completely changed because of the war. My family and I were forced to flee to the Khan Younis area after losing our home and our source of income. We are now living under extremely harsh conditions, facing severe shortages of food and clean water. The place we are in lacks proper facilities or medicine to help my sick mother and my young children.
My three children — Fathi (5 years old), Hossam (3.5 years old), and Siwar (2 years old) — are unable to live a normal life. They lack safety and comfort, and they suffer from constant fear due to the bombings and the ongoing crisis. We feel threatened all the time and don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
I am only asking that our story reaches someone who can offer help or humanitarian support. We are in desperate need of any assistance to secure basic safety and essential needs. I want my children to grow up in an environment free of fear and suffering, to have access to food, clean water, and proper healthcare. We are a people who only wish to live with dignity and peace, and we hope the world hears our voices.
