I am Kayleigh, I live in the U.S and I have been in contact with Rawan for over a year. I wasn’t always the one managing her fundraiser but because we had built a relationship she asked me to help her create one when her Gofundme was taken down.

Hello everyone I will tell you my story and I pray to God that it will not happen to anyone else

My name is Rawan Abu Qasim

My story Hello, we are a Palestinian family of 4, me, my husband and my daughters from Gaza, displaced in our beloved homeland, the war destroyed us, our house was bombed after the war targeted it, we lost our private car and our source of livelihood.

Now we have no shelter. If you can help us with money even to buy food, the price is very high. If there is food, you will save us from death. We live in a tent. My two daughters who are not more than 4 years old suffer from malnutrition and the smell of war. The rain is falling and the tent is storming the place, and we do not know if we will stay. We live from now until you receive my message or not. Grief is on everyone. I hope you will help us and help others. Certainly, with your help, we will definitely restore our lives to the better, rebuild our home, and bring back the missing. Help us get out of the combat zone. We hope for a response from you.

We really want to leave Gaza now and to a safer place in Gaza, so please help us, it’s not just food, it’s also to save our lives and save my children’s lives, please.

We have been able to raise almost $600 before the last campaign on chuffed expired. I will be sending this to her and we will need to continue raising money so that she and her children have a chance of surving. Qamar has starter kindergarten in the midst of genocide and her little sister has barely known anything else.

Living in fear and dodging death at every turn. Just last week Rawan was almost targeted by a bombing, her and her family saw a child martyred. All aid has been stopped from entering Gaza since March 2nd. We cannot stop our support because of this. They are counting on the kindness of strangers to survive this so their children can have a chance to grow into adults and experience a chance at life. Their home has been destroyed and they live in the home of a friend. Please help us reach our goal of 10,000 so that Rawan can pay for evacuation, food, and medical expenses.
