My name is Faisal. I am 38 years old, originally from the northern Gaza Strip, and now displaced in Khan Yunis. I hold a degree in English Language Education from Al-Azhar University. Today, I write to you not as a teacher, but as a son desperate to save his mother—and himself.

I live with my 78-year-old mother, a gentle soul who suffers daily from high blood pressure, anemia, joint pain, spinal disc , a hiatal hernia, and severe muscle atrophy. She needs constant medical care, medications, and proper nutrition—basic needs that have become nearly impossible to secure amidst the horrors of war.

Due to the ongoing genocide, relentless bombings, and widespread hunger, our lives are in constant danger. We are surrounded by death and destruction. In these unbearable conditions, I’ve also been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in my ear. I urgently need surgery and weekly treatment just to stay alive.

We need $300 a week for my mother’s food and medication, and an additional $100 a week for my treatment. Your help could mean the difference between life and death for us.

Please, I ask you from the depths of my heart—do not turn away. We are clinging to hope, to the belief that somewhere, someone will hear our cry and choose to act. We believe in your humanity.

Please help us survive. Time is running out.
