Help Shahd and Her Family Survive and Evacuate

Shahd is a 21 year old Pharmacy student from Gaza. Her family home was completely destroyed by bombing. All 13 members of her immediate family have been sheltering in her older sister’s house, which is barely standing. There are 3 young children with them, Dana, Lana, and Taim. They all have now recieved yet another evacuation notice, and have not been able to evacuate because they cannot afford a tent. Every day that goes by, their life is more and more in danger. We need immediate funds for a tent.
Also, it has been increasingly difficult to find food and water. They are drinking very dirty, unsafe water and eating unsafe food. This is causing many health issues for all of them. Shahd has been unable to walk sometimes due to malnutrition. They need money to afford to eat and drink safe water, and to get medication to treat their medical conditions. Shahd’s elderly parents are in dire need of medication for chronic conditions that are being greatly worsened by the situation.
Daily, Shahd tells me that she is beyond exhausted. Her fundraiser has been removed twice now. She has run from bombing more times than I can count now, and I am afraid every day will be the last time we speak. Shahd dreams of evacuating Gaza and returning to Pharmacy school. She tells me she wants to wear the white lab coat and help people. She is such a light on this earth, and this world is failing her and her family so deeply. We are seeking hope and help from the community. Shahd and her family’s future is in the hands of others, and we are desperate for people to share and donate.
