Help Sue Nelson to pay for rehab after tragic car accident
Story
My name is Shannon Caudle and I’m setting this up to help my mother, Sue Nelson, who was in a horrific vehicle accident with an 18-wheeler in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on Wednesday, May 14th. She was a passenger in the SUV that was struck by the semi. One arm is broken, the other was dislocated at the elbow, then found to be fractured as well. She has 8 broken ribs, which had to be surgically fused together, and a broken foot, with many stitches all over and bruised from head to toe. Mom didn’t have medical insurance, and now we are finding out that the vehicle insurance is only going to pay a very small percentage of her hospital bill.
Today is 2 weeks since the accident, and the hospital is wanting to move her to a rehab facility, but none will accept her without insurance. One month in the rehab facility that will accept her is 6000 a month upfront each month, with another 1500 or more in fees and pay-by-the-minute therapy fees. So, I’m trying to get at least 7500 to pay the first month of rehab before the hospital releases her and sends her home with only my stepdad, who has to work, to take care of her!
If you have read this far, I am asking from the bottom of my heart to please help my Mom! If you can’t, then say a prayer for her and my stepdad! I know times are hard and everyone is struggling. My goal is to reach a few thousand people that could give a couple of bucks. Please share this with anyone and everyone you can. God Bless!
