Their lives are filled with fear, as they suffer from shortages of food, water, electricity, medicine, and all the basic necessities of life. They face financial hardship and exploitation, living in a state of perpetual survival.

This is my story and that of my family, as we suffer amidst the horrors of war and genocide in Gaza.
My name is Mahmoud, I am 17 years old, and I need your help to save my family. We are living in extremely difficult conditions due to the war that has been going on for more than a year and a half. We are a family from northern Gaza. Our home was destroyed, and we were forced to flee from one place to another. Now, we have finished this exhausting displacement. We have returned to northern Gaza. We returned to our completely destroyed home in northern Gaza and built a tent over the rubble of our house. Our lives became very difficult again when we returned to our home. There is no water, no food, no life here in northern Gaza.
It has been an endless nightmare for me and my family since October 7, 2023, when the war began.
I am asking for your help for my family who are going through difficult times in Gaza.
My family consists of eight members: my father, my mother, my middle son Mahmoud, 17, my older sister Rwanda, 21, my older brother Mohammed, 19, my younger brother Zain, 14, my sister Rimas, 10, and my brother Abdulrahman, 7. We live with our parents in extremely difficult conditions. We are suffering from hunger, and there is no safe shelter or access to healthcare. My father lost his job and everything he worked for throughout his life. We have also lost many of our relatives and friends. We lived in a safe, warm home filled with beautiful memories. Since the beginning of the war, we have been fleeing from one place to another in search of safety. Our house was completely destroyed for the second time: the first time in 2014, when it was rebuilt, and the second time in 2023, when all our belongings were stolen.
We are now displaced in the Nuseirat camp. This is the fifth time we have been displaced after being displaced from Rafah, which was a safe haven for me and my family during the war. Now, there is no safe place for us in the Gaza Strip. We live in a tent made of cloth, unsuitable for living due to the heat of the sun during the day and the cold at night, the insect bites, and the widespread pollution. We are now trying to escape the horrors of war. It is a dangerous and unsafe place, especially for children and the elderly.
Life here is filled with fear, and with the ongoing Israeli attacks on southern Gaza, our lives are in constant danger.
We live in a state of oppression and misery, suffering from shortages of food, water, electricity, medicine, and all the necessities of life.
I feel helpless when I see my family suffering.
We are facing food shortages: we struggle daily to find enough food.
No Jobs: There are no jobs available, leaving us with no means of earning money.
Financial Difficulties: We don’t have money to buy even basic necessities.
Exploitation: Although humanitarian aid arrives, it is often stolen and sold to us at exorbitant prices.
No Cooking Gas: Even when food is available, we don’t have cooking gas.
Stagnation: We have been stuck in the same place for over a year and a half, suffocating in this daily routine.
Child Hunger: Children are dying every day from extreme hunger.
Water Scarcity: Finding clean drinking water is a daily challenge.
No Electricity: We have been without electricity since the beginning of the war, making every task more difficult.
No Life: We are just struggling to survive, not living.
