Gaza’s children are being starved.

This campaign is created on behalf of photographer Saher Alghorra to raise funds for the families photographed by him. Many of Saher’s photos have been used in The New York Times to call attention to the children dying of starvation in Gaza, and the extreme lack of food available do to the current blockade of food andother supplies into Gaza.

The funds raised from this campaign will be distributed equitably amongst the families that Saher has photographed. Food, when it can be found in the markets, is priced extremely high due to the shortages. A kilo of rice costs $25; a kilo of tomoatoes costs $25. A family needs $100 to survive. Gazans also pay 47% of the value of the money received in donations in order to withdraw the cash to use to purchase necessary food.

This is a catastrophic situation, and every meal counts with children on the brink of death by starvation. Thank you for anything you can donate to the families at this critical time.
