Yes and you can help! There is a constant flow of injured or lost/starving domestic pigeons needing rescue. You may have heard of pigeon racing, but if not I’m sure you have heard about “dove” releases at weddings and funerals (which are white homing pigeons). Though the birds may be trained to return home, they don’t all make it back (like the injured racing pigeon pictured below).
