The Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is the largest animal care organization in the Philadelphia area, serving over 18,000 animals every year; they provide shelter and care for homeless, abandoned, and abused pets. ACCT’s staff and volunteers are beyond dedicated to providing the best possible care to the animals under their protection. ACCT Philly is currently experiencing an outbreak of a virulent strain of upper respiratory infection (canine pneumovirus) that is highly infectious and very difficult to treat.
