Pediatric cancer is a leading cause of death for children in the United States. About 11,060 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2019. We have to fund research AND support kids and their families who are battling it’s effects every day.

With my Cuddle Bear drive THIS weekend, Usborne Books & More is donating a portion of the proceeds from each Cuddle Bear set to the Scott Carter Foundation to pursue treatments and methods to END cancer! But that’s not all! I am also giving sets of Cuddle Bear books and stuffed bears to local kids in need. Each set will go directly to a child at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. What a comfort to have a story about being loved AND a bear that you can hold onto when you’re going through a hard and scary time. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most -the cuddles and hugs that get through the fear and pain.

To sponsor a child and give a Cuddle Bear book and bear set is only $25. But guess what!?!? The company I work with, Usborne Books & More, is matching our donations at 50% once we get to $250 in donations (that’s only 10 Sponsors!!!) How amazing is that?! That means for every 2 sets purchased, they donate an additional Cuddle Bear set AND they give a percentage of the proceeds to cancer research!!! Your impact is multiplied!! My goal is $500 in donations to purchase Cuddle Bear sets!
