Life-changing Mobility Scooter

Story

Hello friends,

I’m asking for your kind support for a good friend who has been diagnosed with progressive neuromuscular disease that affects her legs and mobility. It’s almost impossible for her to walk any distance. She struggles with daily activities.

She is in urgent need of a mobility scooter. Medicaid will not provide one until 2028. This means she needs to buy a scooter out-of-pocket, but she does not have the financial means to purchase one without help.

She found a great and sturdy scooter that will meet her needs. The scooter is her lifeline. It will allow for errands, medical visits, and basic daily mobility, hopefully for many years.

My friend has given selflessly to the community for many years. She’s always the first to jump in to help and to advocate for a neighbor or stranger.
