Hey humans! My partner Liv is transgender, and transitioning gender is unfortunately a very costly exercise. As such, I’m requesting assistance to pay for Liv’s name change (to Lavinia O’Belhans) and other transition needs. I know some of you are pretty strapped for cash, so don’t feel in any way pressured to contribute, but any help is appreciated.

The name change costs $218 ($170 for the name change plus $48 for a new birth certificate). If there’s any money left over, it will be spent on IPL (permanent hair removal), HRT (hormone therapy), psych appointments, sperm freezing, and other transition needs. All these things will help Liv to start living more fully as a girl, and will help her to get through the Gender Police (no really, there’s literally a board of people who sit in judgement and decide whether she gets to legally change her gender) (which also costs money) (Can you imagine? Having to pay for someone you’ve never met to sign off on your gender identity?).

While I have hypothetical permission to collect money from friends, I haven’t told Liv about this event, so please help me keep it secret. I’m hoping to surprise her at Christmas time. Love you all ♥
