Hello , we are two sisters from Gaza
Aseel Raed 25 years old, Dentist before war I was work in a dental clinic, engaged to Dr. Ahmed, we had a home during this war. It’s now destroyed and I lost my job then my husband, and now we are alone.
Hania Read 15 years old, school student .. before war, I was studying in school, I had friends but we now lost education and the world dosent care about childhood, I had to grow up fast, carrying the weight of our survival on my shoulders now.
As the war in gaza has been for almost two years, we are suffering from loss of saftey and food
We need your help to survive and buy food to eat. Every day here in gaza we need at least 100$ to buy basic requirements like clean water which costs 10$ and flour which 1kilo cost 70$ and any type of vegetables which cost 30$. Our mother suffers from diabetes and she needs $360 per month for her medication to keep her alive. She is currently in a coma, fighting for her life. This is simply due to not having enough healthy foods to help her manage this.
I don’t want pity. I just want a chance. A chance to live and survive…
Thank you for listening, for caring. If you can help us to survive
With hope

Hello I’m Hania Alashqar 22/2/2009 from gaza , palestine and My mother Jihan Shaaban,7/7/ 1974 is 50 years old and has been suffering from type 2 diabetes for 15 years. She needs medications to regulate her blood sugar levels monthly, in addition to medications for high blood pressure and nerve-related issues, since diabetes, as you know, affects the nerves and other organs over time. She also requires some nutritional supplements and healthy food.
However, being in Gaza prevents us from taking proper care of her. Due to the closure of the borders, access to medicine and food has become nearly impossible. For example, we haven’t been able to provide my mother with a complete, healthy meal for two years. Recently, for the past two months, the only thing we have been able to obtain is flour. Now, with the situation deteriorating and prices rising insanely, we can no longer afford either medicine or food.
For the past week, we have been preparing what we call a “fake soup,” which consists of only water, tomato paste, and spices. We try to fool ourselves into believing it’s a real meal.
As a result, my mother fell into a diabetic coma due to a severe drop in blood sugar, and she is in the hospital we can’t safe her or provide her any thing . I kindly ask you to pray for her and help us provide her with the necessary medications, as she needs them on a monthly basis.
There are some places in Gaza where food is available, but the prices are extremely high. For example, flour costs $50, vegetables $70 per kilogram, and sugar $100 per kilogram.
There are some medications available in pharmacies, but they are very hard to obtain due to their extremely high prices. Because the borders are closed, there are very few medications available, and because of the high demand and low supply, prices have increased very much . There is also no source of income — Gaza is completely devastated, and there is no work.
I have visited many places and found a pharmacy that provides this medication, but I was told it costs $1,000g. However, the doctor informed me that she urgently needs medications that cost $500.
For example, my mother needs the following medications:
⭕️calvus mat 1000/10 250$ ⭕️ diovan 160 250$ Hydroclortdizide 25 mg 30$ Amylodipine 5mg 30$ Nerouvite tap 200$ Thioticide 600mg 300$ ( the first two medicine is the most important we need it urgently now , but she still need all other)
Me and my family have recently tried to help our mother, but we couldn’t — we have lost all our sources of income. So we decided to reach out to kind-hearted people who care about humanity and human dignity, and ask for help. Honestly, I hesitated a lot before doing this, because before the war, we were not used to asking for help — in fact, we were a productive and self-reliant family.
But these difficult circumstances have forced us to do so. In the end, I turned to my compassionate brothers and sisters with kind hearts, hoping they could lend a hand.
