I am the lonechild of the purest soul on earth — my mother.

My mother, age 62, got diagnosed with acute heart failure on April 23 2025 following a sharp health decline since february.

She had heart surgery at AUB in Beirut in 1981, at the age of 18 years old. In December 1991, I was born against the advice of doctors who told her she would risk her life by having a child. I have no other siblings.

Writing this is extremely difficult as I’m doing this as a last resort after spending and selling every single thing I own and asking every single person I know and am related to. The past 3 months have been an absolute nightmare with no end.

She is in need of an acute TAVI/TAVR procedure (heart valve surgery/replacement) and the cheapest place to do it in is Lebanon, where she would do it at AUBMC or HTF MC, the cheapest alternative would be chosen depending on if I can raise the amount needed. As her only son who is having a liquidity problem unrelated to this issue, I hereby want everyone reading this to know the following:
