Ibrahim, a 22-year-old poet and writer, is currently studying English Literature at university. Despite the immense challenges of living in a war-torn region, he remains committed to his education, using it as a pathway to amplify his voice for justice and peace. Recently, he was injured during a bombing near his family home, yet his determination to learn and write remains unwavering.
Asem, also 24, is the eldest of four siblings. Once a promising student mentored by the late poet Refaat al-Areer, he now faces the harsh reality of displacement. Living in a cold, makeshift tent, Asem struggles to provide for his family while nurturing his dream of becoming a writer to advocate for Gaza’s people.
