Samah’s Fund: Help Samah support displaced children in Gaza

Samah is a displaced Palestinian from Gaza who is doing incredible work for displaced children with barely any resources. An English language teacher by training, Samah has been teaching children English on a voluntary basis. She also strives to provide children with essential supplies such as clothes and toys.

This campaign is to support and expand Samah’s efforts.

The funds will be used to provide children with the following (and more, depending on availability):

-Clothing – Food – Toys – Learning tools, such as books, notebooks and pens – Arts and crafts tools – Hygiene products – Psychosocial support activities (e.g. singing, dancing) – Cash

Please support Samah so that she can help as many displaced children as possible to create some sense of normalcy in their lives!

All funds will be transferred to Samah, who will share photos and videos of activities & distributions on her Instagram page.

For Eid al-Fitr, a significant Muslim holiday, Samah clothed 100 children, 50 of which were orphans. This was an amazing day of shopping, fun, and sweets where they could be children, even if for a day. Samah also provided the children with hot meals and “eidiyya,” which is the tradition of gifting cash to children in Eid. https://vimeo.com/1071482026

On March 16, 2025, the 16th day of the blessed month of Ramadan, Samah distributed vegetable parcels to displaced families in Deir Al Balah: https://vimeo.com/1066731585.

Since the onset of the genocide, fresh produce has been extremely scarce and expensive. Thanks to your generosity, Samah was able to provide this much needed aid for children (and their families), who have been deprived of the rich nutrients for over a year and a half.
