I am Anan Al-Najjar, a 31-year-old Palestinian man from the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis, Gaza. I am married to my wife, Nuha (30 years old), and a father of five children:
Jalila (7.5 years old) Rayan (5 years old) Watan (3 years old) Tulin (1.5 years old) Jasmina (6 months old) My life changed completely after I was shot by an Israeli sniper, resulting in the amputation of my leg a few days later. The pain alone wasn’t enough; I also lost my entire home in the bombing, leaving my children and wife homeless. We live in a tent on the street, without any food, or safety. I only ask for a chance for a decent life for my children, a roof over their heads to protect them from the cold and hunger, and a foundation upon which to rebuild our future. You are my only hope besides God. Every donation, no matter how small, will help save my family from this suffering. Help restore hope and dignity to my family.
