Hello world: I am Ayman, a teacher from Gaza, 43 years old, father of 5 children, living a life full of happiness in a beautiful simple house with my wife who is a university lecturer, we have a garden full of trees, it was considered a safe place for the children. In May 2023, I received an email about winning the lottery program, it gave me hope to start a new life in August 2024, the date of obtaining permission to enter America, but the situation changed tragically after, October 7th
This morning, we heard loud explosions while the children were getting ready for school, we wondered what was going on? We learned about the war, we panicked, we decided to flee in search of safety. We took refuge in UNRWA schools, but we did not find sufficient safety there. The F16 destroyed our house and the houses of our neighbors with a terrifying belt of fire. The shells reached the school, killing some and wounding others. In the midst of this panic, we fled to the Egyptian border in Rafah. We lived in harsh conditions, lost many memories and dreams, lost water and food, and were satisfied with one meal, often a simple soup. The cold stung our bones, and hunger gnawed at our bodies, until tanks chased us and the situation worsened. Shells were falling around us, and we and our children were no longer safe. We did not know where to flee. We fled in the rain to Mawasi Khan Yunis in search of a safe haven inside Gaza, which was already tense, even though displacement imposes a heavy burden on us in light of the difficult economic conditions.
The war destroyed our dreams, and left me and my wife unemployed. We live in constant fear, surrounded by frustration, sadness and anxiety, struggling for life.
My family is living the most difficult days after repeated displacement. Despite all this, I still try to be strong, I tell my children stories, I encourage them not to lose hope. I tell them: “The war will end and we will return to our land, we will plant our garden and rebuild our house.

This war has wronged me, our house was destroyed, we lost our jobs and our dreams were shattered.
The price of starting a new life is far and impossible. What is required to restore life is beyond my capabilities, and that is why I am here to ask for your help, your support can change our lives.
