Save Iman and her children in Gaza
United States
Hello
I am Iman, a Palestinian woman from northern Gaza, Beit Hanoun. I am a 35-year-old university graduate. I am married with four children: Yamen, 13; Aref, 12; Zeina, 10; and Ahmed, 5.
We lived in a beautiful, modest home. We were happy, and my children went to school with love and peace of mind, and were among the top students.
My husband worked day and night at the hospital, and our life was beautiful, thank God.
Until October 7th came, and everything turned upside down.
The Israeli occupation army asked us to leave our homes immediately to evacuate them. Unfortunately, we quickly left the house to save our lives, especially those of my children. We walked until we reached Jabalia camp. We stayed in UNRWA schools for a week, while the shelling was very close to us and the massacres were happening all around us. I was also injured at the time, and my children were also injured by shrapnel. As the shelling intensified, the army asked us to leave south immediately before the schools and the entire area were bombed.
We moved south again to Gaza City, settling in a dilapidated tent that offered no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold. Since that day until today, we have lived in extremely harsh conditions, with widespread filth, scarcity of food and clothing, and high prices. My children have become victims of this war, searching morning and night for wood to light fires, and queuing for water and food. They have been deprived of their childhood and their education. Therefore, we created this link to ask for help from charitable and compassionate people so that we can buy our basic needs, such as food and clothing, and then leave Gaza.
We ask for your solidarity, participation, and donations quickly and urgently, as every minute that passes is an inevitable death for someone here in Gaza.
Donate even a little.
A little means a lot. Thank you.
