The previous organizer of the Masry family’s fundraiser can no longer organize their fundraiser, so I am opening this fundraiser to raise them the funds their need to survive in war-torn landscape created by the Israeli genocide.

Mohammad and his seven family members live in a makeshift shelter next to the rubble of the house their father worked his entire life to build for them. There are ten members of Mohammad’s family: his parents, himself, and his five brothers.

Mohammad’s father is now too elderly to work. Due to the restrictive Israeli siege on Gaza before the Al Aqsa Flood, the Gazan economy was in severe depression and unemployment was incredibly high. Mohammed and his brothers worked hard picking up odd jobs to support their family, but none had an established career. Mohammad was lucky enough to receive a grant from a family friend to study graphic design at university, but was unable to finish his studies before Israel destroyed every single university and 90% of the schools in Gaza.

Now the family wants to evacuate Gaza, which will cost them about $5000 dollars per person. And Mohammad wants to finish his graphic design studies which will cost additional fees, which I will add to this fundraiser when Mohammad determines where he wants to continue his education.

In addition to these long-term goals, the family needs funds for daily basic necessities such as food, clean water, warm clothing, shelter, and hygiene products. Please give generously. This family has lost everything precious to them, including many relatives in different Israeli airstrikes, and overcome indescribable adversity. The barbaric cruelty they’ve been subject to for months would make any of us lose our sanity and faith in humanity. You can help restore some of that sanity and faith by donating what you can, even an amount as small as $5. In addition, please share this fundraiser with anyone you know who might be able to help.

A portion of the funds raised will be used to pay taxes, duties, and fees associated with transferring the money to the family.
