Peace be upon you,

I am a mother from the north of Gaza, 34 years old, carrying in my heart the dreams of three little souls:

my eldest daughter, just 13 years old; my son, 10; and my youngest daughter, only 8.

Our lives, like so many others here, have been torn apart by a war that shows no mercy.

On 10/9/2023, we fled our home, seeking safety in the south.

Since that day, we have been displaced eleven times, moving from one fragile tent to another, each time chased away by bombs that fell where we once hoped to rest.

In Khan Younis, during one of the endless attacks, a car near me was hit.

The blast took four fingers from my right hand and left deep wounds on my back ,scars that no words can truly capture.

My husband, who is 55 years old, fights his own battles every day: high blood pressure, diabetes, and a heart that has needed three stents just to keep beating.

Today, our life is a daily struggle for the simplest things , a bit of food, a piece of clothing, a tent strong enough to shield our children from the cold.

We live on faith alone , faith in God, and faith that somewhere, far from the dust and fear that surrounds us, hearts still beat with compassion for Gaza.
