SUPPORT SHEHDEH IN GAZA Hi everyone, I’m helping raise funds for ‘Shehdeh Ahmed Adwan’, the brother of a kind student named Mariam, who reached out to me from Gaza. Shehdeh is a 21-year-old aspiring software engineer whose dreams were stopped by the war. Now displaced and injured, he’s the sole provider for his family, caring for his sick parents and younger siblings. I am managing this campaign for Shehdeh so that people like you and me can donate and help this family in whatever amount we can. “My name is Shehdeh Ahmed Adwan, 21, from Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. I am the eldest of my family and a software engineering and AI student. My dream was to create a better future for my family and country. Before the war, I studied with passion, learning programming, analyzing data, and building solutions to help my community.

The war changed everything. I became the sole provider for my displaced family after our home—built by my father over 20 years despite his serious injuries—was destroyed. My father can no longer work due to worsening health, and my mother suffers from a chronic heart condition with little access to treatment.

Despite my leg injury and torn tendons, I carry heavy water and supplies through rubble under the threat of shelling. My priority now is keeping my parents and siblings safe each day.

Like many others in Gaza, I appeal for your help to support my family to survive with the bare essentials, and insha’Allah, one day return to my studies so I can continue caring for my family and rebuild our future. Every contribution means survival, relief from pain, and the chance to reclaim a dream stolen by war.”
