My name is Bassam Abu Zaid, and I am from Gaza. My wife, Samah, and I have been married for 15 years. At the start of our marriage, we were blessed with a child, but he passed away just days after birth. For years, we endured a difficult journey of medical treatments and even attempted a transplant, which, unfortunately, failed.

Then, by the grace of God, we were blessed with our only child, Muhammad, who became the light of our lives. He was everything to us—kind, obedient, and a source of immense joy. But on September 7, 2024, our world shattered when an Israeli missile struck him as he played outside our home. He was just nine years old.

Before the war, we lived in Hamad City, but after losing Muhammad, we were displaced and now live in Al-Nuseirat Camp. Since that tragic day, life has lost its meaning for us. We are heartbroken, grieving the loss of our beloved son, and struggling to find a way forward.

We are seeking help to leave Gaza and start over in a safer place. The costs of relocation and rebuilding our lives are overwhelming, and we cannot afford them on our own. As we are now in our forties, we still pray for the chance to have another child, to heal some part of our broken hearts.

We humbly ask for your support. Your donation can help us escape this hardship and give us a chance to rebuild our lives. Even if you cannot contribute, sharing this message can make a difference.

Please donate and spread the word. May you be a reason for bringing some peace to our shattered hearts.
