“A Voice from the Tent – A Father’s Plea”

My name is Ali Ayyad. I’m 33 years old, from Al-Shuja’iyya in Gaza. I live with my wife Hanan, who is four months pregnant, and our two-year-old son Jude.

Today, we survive under a torn tent after our home was bombed and destroyed. The sun burns above us during the day, and the fear of night brings no rest. We are living in the middle of war — with no safety, no clean water, no food, and no medicine.

Hanan is pregnant and suffering from malnutrition. There is no access to proper healthcare. Every drop of clean water feels like a miracle. Food is almost impossible to find. Sometimes we sleep hungry. Sometimes we wake up to explosions.

Jude is just a child, but war has stolen his childhood. He asks for bread and milk, and we have nothing to give. I watch my wife grow weaker each day, and I feel helpless.

We are not asking for luxuries — just the basics to stay alive:

Shelter. Water. Food. Medicine.

These are not dreams. They are rights.

From beneath this tent, from the heart of destruction, we ask for your help.

Help us give our unborn child a chance to live.

Help us bring hope back into our shattered lives.
