Ashraf and Rozan are from Gaza and they have four beautiful daughters: Tala (14), Hala (10) Leen (4) and Wafa (2). Before the war Ashraf worked as a communications engineer for an internet provider and Rozan had taken a break from teaching to look after her children full time.
Their entire lives were upended on October 8th when they were displaced from their homes in the North of Gaza and forced to trek south by foot with whatever belongings they could carry. They never imagined that that day would be the last time they would see their home again.
Since October 2023 they have been displaced 9 times, have had to survive with little to no food, no home and no education for their daughters and now find themselves trapped in an unlivable wasteland that was once the land they loved.
All they want is to create a new home for themselves, send their daughters back to school and have a chance to live in peace. Right now there is no future in Gaza for them or for their children.
