This is the only GoFundMe organized to cover the full cost of Braiden’s funeral. Any additional funds raised will go directly to his family to support them and to help create meaningful ways to remember and honor his life. On May 28th at 12:45am in Folsom, California, the Flynn family’s world was shattered. Braiden Flynn — a bright, resilient, and deeply loved young man — was tragically killed when a speeding driver ran a red light. Braiden died on the scene. He was only 20 years old.
Braiden’s story is one of courage. At just 16, he was diagnosed with cancer — and he fought with everything he had. Against the odds, he survived. He beat cancer. He graduated high school. He was looking forward to the future, full of hope and determination after overcoming so much at such a young age.
To survive cancer and then be taken from his family in an instant is a heartbreak no family should have to endure.
We are asking for your help to give Braiden the memorial he deserves. The sudden nature of his passing has left his family unprepared for the financial burden of funeral expenses. We are hoping to raise $18,000 to help cover the costs and lay him to rest with the love, dignity, and honor he earned.
