Support Cory Scott’s Battle with Cancer

Story

On May 1, 2025, my dad, Cory Scott, was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. The weeks to follow have been packed with doctor appointments and overwhelming information. Unfortunately, they discovered that the cancer has spread to a lymph node, and the fight has intensified.

My dad served our country with four years in the Air Force, including being stationed in the Philippines. After his honorable service, he moved to Texas where he met my mom and fell in love with us, and us with him. He began to work as a police officer for Pasadena ISD for 12 years. After his years at the district, he became a police officer for the city of Pasadena and served our community with honor and commitment for 17 years. He retired, but quickly realized he wasn’t ready to say goodbye to serving his community. In October 2024, he joined Goose Creek ISD Police as a detective and training officer. More importantly, my dad is a loving husband, father, and probably his favorite role, Papa.

My dad has served our family and our community for many years, and now it’s our turn to serve him. My dad continues to work while receiving treatment, and the financial stress is a burden I’m hoping we can take away from him.
