A Helping Hand for Jakaila’s Fight Against Leukemia!
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts but also with hope and determination to support our dear Jakaila Ammons. At just 22 years old, Jakaila received a life-altering diagnosis on December 9, 2023: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Since her diagnosis, Jakaila has shown incredible strength and resilience as she bravely faces this challenging journey. Her treatment plan requires frequent and demanding travel from her home in Grenada, Mississippi, to Houston, Texas, for essential medical care. These trips, which occur monthly and sometimes even weekly, place a significant financial strain on Jakaila and her family.
The costs associated with these vital trips quickly add up. Hotel accommodations and daily meals in Houston are a constant and considerable expense. We want to alleviate this burden so that Jakaila and her family can focus entirely on her health and recovery without the added stress of mounting bills.
