Hello everyone, my name is Mohammed, and I am 13 years old from Gaza. I live with my family of six in a tent in Mawasi, Khan Younis. Our journey of hardship began on October 7th, when we were displaced from our home on the first day of the conflict and taken to a school in Khan Younis. There, we endured cold, hunger, and a severe lack of clean drinking water and sanitation. It was one of the hardest days of my life, and for my family as well. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of our suffering.

After three months, the school we were staying in was besieged, and we were forcibly evacuated under shelling and the threat of tanks. It was terrifying. Following that, we were displaced once more, this time from Khan Younis to Rafah. Between each displacement, we spent many days on the streets without shelter, food, or water. Eventually, after three days, we managed to set up a tent for our family.

However, life in the tent was far from easy. Due to the spread of diseases and the lack of clean water, my three brothers and I contracted hepatitis. We were all bedridden, weak, and struggling to afford the expensive medicines we needed. Meanwhile, the winter rains flooded our tent, and the severe cold, high prices, and constant hunger worsened our suffering.

One morning, we were awakened by the sound of missiles, and we had to move again—this time back to Khan Younis. Now, we are living in a tent near Al-Aqsa University in the Mawasi area. Can you imagine that a 13-year-old child has had to endure all of this? The most painful part is that we are still stuck in this nightmare of violence, hunger, and suffering.

I desperately need your help, for myself and my family. Your support can make a life-saving difference. Please, I am reaching out as my second family, hoping for your kindness and generosity.

Mohammad and his family have been displaced again, from Bani Suheila to al-Mawasi. We are in urgent need of funds to support them.

Conditions are getting worse and worse in Gaza following the 11 weeks of siege, with no aid entering the strip during that time. Only very few aid trucks have been let in during the last few days, far below the amount needed. The threat of starvation is extremely high and food prices are astronomical.

If you can contribute emergency funds now, we urge you to do so. If you can become a monthly donor, that’s even better. This will help us provide consistent funds to allow Mohammad and his family to purchase essential items which are only becoming more expensive.

The fragile ceasefire deal ended and the genocide continues. We are reaching out to you again, to donate to little Mohammad’s family. Fourteen year old Mohammad and his family had to evacuate again during the holy month of Ramadan. We must not look away. Children of Gaza are losing their childhood! Al Jazeera reports how “Israel kills a child in Gaza every 45 minutes – an ever age of 30 children killed every day over the past 535 days.” The rest of children have injuries, debilities, missing, wounded, orphaned, malnutritioned, scars of war and ongoing trauma.

Please consider becoming a monthly donor (regardless of the amount). This will ensure that Mohammad and his family can continue to access food, medicine and water — all of these essentials have become a luxury in Gaza.

Mohammad’s mother has been enduring persistent pain for a while and initially went to the hospital expecting to receive medication and return home. However, the doctors informed her that urgent surgery was necessary. She was transferred to Nasser Medical Hospital, where they discovered a large blood cyst on her left ovary. The surgery was complicated but ultimately successful.

Following the procedure, she spent four days recovering in the hospital. Unfortunately, her wound became infected for which they returned to the hospital this morning.

At this point, Mohammad is unsure of the latest updates on her condition. Due to the unexpected medical costs, Mohammad is reaching out for support and is in urgent need of donations to help cover his mother’s treatment expenses. Please consider becoming a regular donor for Mohammad and his family.

He is deeply grateful for all the support and prayers during this challenging time. Thank you for your continued help.
