Story
Sweet little Logan was born with a large mass connected to his right nostril and under his right eye. Parents, Sarah and Dave, were absolutely shocked to see the mass at birth as it was never detected during prenatal appointments and mom had a normal pregnancy. Multiple doctors, pediatricians, and dermatologists initially thought Logan had a hemangioma. At just 8 days old, Logan was unexpectedly admitted to Lurie’s Children’s Hospital where he stayed for 11 days with his heartbroken parents as he underwent multiple CT scans, an MRI, a PET scan, and a biopsy of the tissue. Logan received the official diagnosis of having a rare, aggressive form of soft-tissue cancer called Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS). Without immediate treatment, the prognosis is fatal.
Logan has shown incredible strength and resilience throughout all of his tests and procedures. Donations will greatly help with costs associated with Logan’s medical bills for chemotherapy, exams, surgery, travel expenses to Lurie’s, overnight stays at the hospital, and further testing and treatment down the road.
Sarah and Dave are focused on keeping Logan safe and comfortable, supported by the love and prayers of friends and family. We are incredibly thankful for all of the support, prayers, and donations to support Logan’s fight against cancer. Thank you so much!
