I am Mohammed Qassem from northern Gaza, I am 22 years old. I was a second-year university student majoring in Business Administration, but unfortunately the war deprived me of the most basic rights that I enjoyed. I did not know that all this would happen, that my dream and future would end, and that I would lose my university and my job that was meeting some needs. We were displaced in the first days of the war since October 7. We left our homes and did not return to them. The house was completely destroyed, and the neighborhood in which we lived our childhood was completely destroyed. We lost some relatives and friends. This is where the suffering of living in a tent begins, where there is no stability either. We were not comfortable since our displacement, so we lived through harsh periods of displacement. Every time we set up a tent in a place, threats and warnings would come, so we would leave this place in difficult conditions under a hail of bullets and missiles. The matter did not stop at the bombing only, but we also suffered from lack of sleep, hunger, cold, severe illness, and slow death… There were days when we did not see flour and basic food supplies. We lost our rights to the simplest things. We suffer from a shortage of food supplies and high prices, and every day is like the other. We wake up hoping that the war will end. We return to our stricken homeland, and despite everything, we still cling to hope, dreaming of a day when we can restore our homeland .
