Support Nayda’s Urgent Cancer Battle

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support and prayers for our friend, Nayda Oquendo-Cruz, who is once again facing an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking battle for her life.

After bravely overcoming breast cancer just last year, Nayda recently received a devastating new diagnosis: Stage 4 colon cancer which has spread to her liver and stomach lining.

In this new and overwhelming fight, Nayda is standing strong, anchored in her deep faith and surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Through it all, she’s been finding comfort in her favorite verse, Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Despite the aggressive treatments, the emotional and physical toll, and the many unknowns ahead, Nayda remains committed to fighting – for herself, for her future, and for her family, especially her husband, Lesmie, and their two young daughters, Destinee (12) and Leilani (5).

This GoFundMe has been created to help cover Nayda’s overwhelming and ever-growing medical expenses, childcare, and daily living costs, so Nayda can focus on spending time with her loved ones.

All funds from this campaign will be managed by Nayda’s sister, Maydee Oquendo-Flores, whom Nayda has personally entrusted to ensure that every donation is used to directly support her and her family through this incredibly difficult time.
