Support Nico’s Fight After a Sudden Stroke at 24

Story

At just 24 years old, Nicolas Cummings has suffered a large stroke in his cerebellum, the lower back part of the brain responsible for balance and coordination. What started as neck pain quickly escalated to blurred vision, severe headache, and ultimately a life-threatening medical emergency.

Currently, he is hospitalized and facing a long road to recovery. The swelling in his brain is being closely monitored, and doctors are continuing blood thinners while preparing for the possibility of surgery to relieve pressure on his brain if his condition worsens. He has already experienced weakness on his left side and will require extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation over the next few months.

Nico will be transferred to Hartford Hospital, where he can receive round-the-clock neurological care. His recovery will take time, and during this period he will be unable to work, creating significant financial strain from both medical expenses and lost income.
