Support Thaer’s family in Gaza: Help meet their daily needs

Hi everyone,

My name is Lorana, and I live Switzerland. I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend, Thaer, who is currently trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip. He and his family are in urgent need of support to cover basic necessities such as food, clean water, shelter, and medical expenses.

This fundraiser is for 9 people: Thaer Inshasi, 27 years old, his mother and father, his three brothers, two sisters, and his 3-year-old niece, Rahaf.

Thaer and his family have now been displaced for eight times since the beginning of the war. After 16 months of surviving in a tent, they made the difficult decision to move into a small, unfinished apartment. Life in the tent had become unbearable — especially for the children.

They now need approximately €1,500 per month to cover essential living costs. This includes €450 for rent, as well as food, water, hygiene products, and medical needs.

As you may know, the situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. Food is nearly impossible to find, and when it is available, prices are outrageously high. Access to clean water, electricity, and medical care is extremely limited. Every day is a fight for survival.

Beyond the physical hardship, the psychological toll is immense. Thaer’s family lives in constant fear, uncertainty, and trauma — especially the youngest members. Your support can make a real difference by providing them with safety, stability, and a sense of dignity.

I’m not ashamed to say that I’m writing this while feeling very hungry and dizzy! We are exhausted from the lack of food our bodies are weak and every day gets harder in this famine and It breaks my heart to see my family hungry and not being able to provide them with food because there is simply no food left in gaza. And even when there is it’s sold at unbearable prices that no one can afford.

I feel helpless watching my family suffer like this especially that we have a child There’s nothing more I can do except ask for your support because your support is the only thing that truly helps right now.

Anything you can give or do makes a difference in this desperate situation people are dying from hunger. Every day more than 100 people are killed in the aid zones just for trying to get a meal. That’s how dangerous and hopeless the situation has become.
