Support the Ayscue Family
Story
If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting the Ayscue family… let me introduce you. ❤️ This is Tricity (mom), Jacob (dad), Branson (7) and Charlotte (2). Branson and Charlotte are living with a rare genetic and terminal disorder called nonketotic hyperglycinemia (NKH) which affects 1 in 76,000 births. NKH is caused by an abnormally high level of an amino acid called glycine. The excess glycine accumulates in tissues and organs, particularly the brain, leading to serious neurological problems. Very little treatment is available for this genetic condition, there are only about 500 children living with this disease. Roughly 80% diagnosed won’t live to see their 1st birthday, those that do have a life expectancy of 5 years. Due to the affects of NKH both Branson and Charlotte use wheelchairs. My sweet friend Tricity would NEVER complain, but she cannot get both wheelchairs in the trunk of her current car. She is having to pick which chair she brings anytime she takes the children out. Because of Branson and Charlotte’s medical needs, Tricity and Jacob cannot just leave them with anyone and finding someone qualified to meet their needs is extremely hard which is why Tricity stays home to make sure they get the very best care while Jacob works to provide for them. I’m hopeful we can raise enough to help them get not only the vehicle they deserve, but the vehicle they NEED.
Thank you so much for considering donating to this sweet family. No amount is too small!
