Support The Families Of Arafat City Camp In Gaza

This Fundraiser is benefiting the 250 families who reside in the tents of Arafat City Camp in the central Gaza Strip. These families have all been displaced from their homes in Norhtern Gaza and are living in very poor conditions. I will be working with Yousef Al Dhnoon to provide relief to as many of these familises as possible. He is involved with relief projects for the camp, including the Northern Youth Team, and is one of the leaders of the camp. We will post updates documenting the distribtion of the funds to the families that are in need.
“I am Youssef Al- Dahnoon, the head of the camp for displaced people from the besieged Northern Gaza Strip. I am trying to collect money to help the needy and poor people and children with milk and granola. Everyone is in a very difficult situation. Stand with us.”
“Do you see how people go to the South to seek aid and risk their lives just to get half a bag of flour? They wait all night and sometimes in the end they don’t get anything. They are broken-hearted because their families are waiting for them to get flour. We the people of Gaza siffer greatly from scarcuty of food.” And far too many who go to collect aid return injured or do not return at all. Many hundreds have been martyed, thousands injured.
The conditions these families are living in are getting worse every day. May people are not eating for days. Parents are watching their children starve to death before their eyes. Driven by desparation those who are able, the young men, the elder men, all go South to the death traps maquerading as aid sites. But if you cannot afford the prices, this is what you must now do to provide for your family.
What we are seeking to o is to provide monetsry support to as many of the families of the camp as possible. It will be distributed to them by Youssef. The money will be used for essential supplies, or medical operations, or medications.
Already we have together helped three families. ” I distributed money to 3 families, including a child suffering from physical and mental problems. I gave the child’s family $150 for emergency treatment in Gaza.”

I will be sending the fuds collected through this page to Youssef Al- Dahnoon, he will distribute the funds to the families and document this process. I will be sending the funds to him by international wire transfer. I will cover the transfer fees so that the maximum of your donations can reach the families in Arafat City Camp.
