Hi, my name is Alison.
I’m 40 years old, and I’ve been without teeth for the last 527 days — and counting.

I’ve lost my ability to eat, smile, or speak clearly —
and even to swallow without the fear of choking.

My body is in crisis.
This is why I need your help.

This was never a cosmetic issue.
This is a base-level need for survival.
Everyone has teeth.
I need to eat to live.

I’ve already had multiple surgeries to rebuild my jaw.
The implants are in place.
But I’ve hit a dead end.
I cannot afford to have the teeth built.

I never thought I’d be here asking others for help.
But my life has been on pause, and I’m running on fumes.

If you’ve ever had a root canal,
been hurt by a dentist,
or had an infection overlooked by a doctor —
please understand where I’m coming from.

If you’re in a position to help in any way, it means more than I can ever explain.
My goal is to raise these funds in the next 30 days so I can begin treatment as soon as possible.
Life like this is no longer sustainable.

• The fabrication of my first temporary teeth to prevent my jaw from collapsing
• The realignment of my bite so I can relearn how to eat, and smile again

My service dog, Charm, has been by my side through all of this.
He helps me with mobility and daily tasks because of my scoliosis and spinal fusion.
