Tim is one of a kind. He’s one of the best friends you could ever ask for.

He’s a husband who loves his wife Danielle unapologetically. He’s an amazing, devoted dad to the most gorgeous four year old twins, Mack and Nyah. He’s their provider, protector, role model, their joker, best friend and the most important man in their world.

Tim first reported to hospital with headaches back in May 2016. He was only 31 years young when he was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma (bone/soft tissue cancer). It was found in his skull.

Luckily it had not spread to his brain. He had to undergo major surgery to remove the tumour and an 8cm piece of skull. The operation was a success. Tim was patched up with a titanium plate in his head. That was the easy part.

He then had to endure ten months of Chemotherapy. If you have been unfortunate enough to go through yourself or witness someone go through chemo you will understand how horrible it is. For those of you lucky ones, it is a long treatment of Chemotherapy drugs that are pumped into the body in phases and work by stopping cancer cells reproducing. The drugs also affect healthy cells, causing a list of possible side effects. His main side effects was nausea and feeling exhausted. His body was struggling but his head was strong.

Tim and his family went through 14 rounds of chemo.

He also had surgery in September 2017 to fix a problem with the plate in his head as original one was causing him pain.

Constant trip back and fourth to the hospital for almost a year it took its toll on the family. Tim couldn’t work. Even on his worse days he would still seem upbeat. You would never hear him complain, it was unbelievable. He was sometimes too ill to look after the kids. Their amazing family and friends helped out where they could but his wife was the rock. She is one of the strongest women I have ever met. In fact anyone that knows them will all say that they are the most optimistic positive people.

He was given the all clear after finishing near the end of 2017. Timmy beat cancer!! He kicked cancers butt.

We all celebrated. It was such a relief, Tim and his family could finally move on and be free to live a normal life again.

However the Cancer came back in April this year. This time in his femur and lungs.

The doctors acted fast and Tim was back in major surgery. He had 22cm of his femur and Knee removed and replaced with a metal prosthesis. We now call him ‘Timinator’ the Super Hero.

Tim is currently recovering from the operation and still smiling. He has always been so active and naturally talanted at every sport. We’ve even talked about, once he gets better, training for the Paralympics.

He has started Chemotherapy for a second time to eliminate this sucker once and for all!

This time around he is more emotional and actually struggling. When he is feeling good he can’t get out and keep active, go for a walk or golf like last time because he is still learning to walk with the prosthesis. The healing will also now plateau because of the chemo. They know it will be a harder mental battle this time.

Obviously Tim has been unable to work throughout this time. His beautiful wife Danielle has been by his side supporting him and looking after the twins.

We are hoping to take some financial pressures away from this beautiful family’s life so Tim can fully focus on fighting this disease off one last time.

We are looking to raise AUD $15,000 in our first campaign to directly help the Likos family.

We will be raising money by offering free fitness boot camps in the Buckinghamshire area, in return for donations.

Also doing a series of one off fundraising activities over the UK summer.

As well as running a social media campaign to reach as many people as possible.

Its nice to think people can help with money. but Billionaires die of cancer too. Knowledge is the only thing that can cure cancer. Understanding that nutrition and lifestyle needs to be changed. I watched the video and saw alcohol consumption after having cancer. Alcohol is a known carcinogen and all medical and health bodies recommend 0% alcohol ever. There is no safe limit of alcohol consumption, there is NO responsible drinking. If you have kids and you want to stay alive to see them grow up, then learn about nutrition. Watch documentary series about alternatives to current cancer treatments, like on “The Truth About Cancer”. Stop eating glyphosate (All wheat, soy, canola, vegetable oil), get filtered water, drink more mineral water with sea salt, No processed sugar and no meat for a while. just eat, nuts, veges, fruits, plant oils like coconut oil, water, salt, spices, legumes, seeds, yoghurt, fermented foods. This knowledge if you are willing to accept is worth more than money can offer. Are you willing to change is the question.
