Together for My Dad’s Health❤️‍

Story

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to ask for help supporting our dad, who is currently in Venezuela and urgently needs surgery to remove two hernias. They’re causing him significant pain and making daily activities very difficult. Without proper treatment, his condition could get worse, so we’re doing everything we can to make sure he gets the care he needs.

Our dad also lives with Parkinson’s disease — a progressive neurological condition that affects his movement and independence. Because of this, he’s no longer able to work and needs extra care and support every day.

Our mom is his full-time caregiver, taking care of him with so much dedication. But with no health insurance and the ongoing economic crisis in Venezuela, accessing proper medical care has become extremely difficult. Even basic services are expensive and often out of reach.

Between the surgery, medications, transportation, and recovery care, the total cost is more than we can manage on our own. That’s why we’re turning to this community for help.

Any donation — no matter the amount — would truly make a difference for our family. And if you’re not able to give right now, simply sharing this campaign would also mean so much to us.

Estamos escribiendo para pedir ayuda y apoyo para nuestro papá, quien se encuentra actualmente en Venezuela y necesita con urgencia una cirugía para remover dos hernias. Estas le causan mucho dolor y dificultan su vida diaria. Sin tratamiento adecuado, su situación podría empeorar, así que estamos haciendo todo lo posible para que reciba la atención médica que necesita.

Nuestro papá también vive con la enfermedad de Parkinson, un trastorno neurológico progresivo que afecta su movilidad y autonomía. Debido a esto, ya no puede trabajar y requiere cuidados constantes.

Nuestra mamá es su cuidadora a tiempo completo y lo apoya con todo el amor y esfuerzo del mundo. Pero sin seguro médico, y con la crisis económica que atraviesa Venezuela, acceder a una atención médica adecuada se ha vuelto extremadamente difícil. Incluso los servicios más básicos tienen costos muy elevados y están fuera de nuestro alcance.

Entre la cirugía, los medicamentos, el traslado y cuidado postoperatorio, los gastos se han acumulado rápidamente y lamentablemente superan nuestras posibilidades.

Por eso acudimos a esta comunidad con esperanza y gratitud. Cualquier donación — por pequeña que sea — realmente haría una gran diferencia para nuestra familia. Y si no puedes donar en este momento, compartir esta campaña también sería de gran ayuda.
