Short Story

United Kingdom

Hi. I am Richard, and have set up this campaign to support Sabreen and her family in Gaza. Here’s her story:

My name is Sabreen. I am a Palestinian from Gaza City. Before October 7, my family and I lived a peaceful life, but everything changed in an instant.

When the war began, we were at home—my father, my mother, my daughter, my sisters, and I. Suddenly, missiles rained down around us. We fled in terror, seeking safety, but even the places we thought were secure were bombed. That day, I lost my mother and two of my sisters. Our world was shattered.

Since then, we have been displaced, moving from place to place, and are now struggling to survive in Rafah. Our home is nothing more than a fragile tent. We are suffering—hunger, disease, unbearable heat, and a lack of even the most basic necessities. Every day is a fight for survival.

I am begging for your help. My family has lost everything, but with your kindness, we can find hope again. Please, donate whatever you can. Every contribution means food, medicine, and a chance to keep my loved ones alive.

Please help us. We have nowhere else to turn.
